Liz Chow
Born and raised in Hong Kong.
Liz is an accomplished media professional with over a decade of experience in journalism, filmmaking, and media production. She holds an undergraduate degree in Anthropology from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and an MFA in Media Studies from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
Liz's career commenced with investigative reporting for Singtao Daily, where her impactful work on immigration issues earned her a National Ethnic Media Award and multiple Independent Press Association awards. She is also an adept author, having written a travel diary chronicling her journey through South America.
In the realm of visual media, Liz has contributed to high-profile projects as a scriptwriter for Asia Television and National Geographic, with her work featuring on the Discovery Channel.
As a freelancer, Liz has documented art and produced videos for various platforms, including the 12-part television series "Routes" about Chinese artists, broadcast both nationally and internationally.
From 2015 to 2022, she directed notable TV shows such as "Exploring the Edible Planet," "China Story," and "Taiwan Story" for Radio Television Hong Kong. Her extensive filmography encompasses numerous other documentaries and television programs.
